Katoomba Public School is again getting involved with the Youth Shoebox Project, organised by Blue Mountains Refuge Support Group and Able2.
We're collecting good quality, new items that can fit into a shoebox to be given as a Christmas gift to welcome a child or young person seeking refuge and asylum in Australia.
You can drop small, new gifts at the Office between now and 1 December. Some gift ideas include balls, soft toys, skipping rope, socks, soap, nail polish, textas, books, craft items, stickers, jewelry, small toys.
(Please do not send in scary items or war-related items, damaged or old items, food, breakable items, political or religious items, things needing batteries, medicine or vitamins or money.)
Thanks for your support and generosity.
