Important COVID-19 update

This means that all children to be dropped off at the Merriwa St gates in the morning and collected at the Merriwa St and Ada St gates whichever applied to your previous arrangements during Covid. Please contact the school on 4782 1226 if you are unsure of which gate to pick up your child.

It also means that we sadly need to postpone our NAIDOC Assembly that was to be held Friday morning.

All essential school visitors continue to check in via the Service NSW QR code app or sign in for each visit and comply with the Department’s COVID safe requirements, including personal hygiene, infection control and physical distancing requirements, while on the school site.

Staff and students in school settings are exempt from the requirement to wear masks, however individuals will be supported to wear masks if it is their preference to do so.

Schools have been direct to implement the following to keep their school communities COVID-safe: Students and staff should not attend work or school if unwell, even with mild symptoms of COVID-19. Any person with any COVID-19 symptoms will be sent home and should not return until they have received a negative test result and are symptom-free. In circumstances where children have other medical reasons for recurring symptoms, a letter from their GP is sufficient to negate the requirement for a negative test.
